Rockets coach J.B. Bickerstaff: 'We've disrespected the game'
The Houston Rockets have been up and down since J.B. Bickerstaff took over for Kevin McHale as head coach earlier this season.
The Rockets are currently 12-9 since Bickerstaff took over, but he thinks the team should be more consistent.
After beating the San Antonio Spurs on Christmas but then losing to the New Orleans Pelicans in their next game, Bickerstaff went on a rant about his team's performance and effort.
Here's more from Bickerstaff via Kurt Helin at ProBasketballTalk:
"Over and over again, we’ve disrespected the game. Our priorities need to be clear. And I need to do a better job of playing the people whose priorities are clear.”
The Rockets are still in the playoff hunt in the jumbled Western Conference, but it's obvious that the team isn't playing the way their head coach would like them to quite yet.
