Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

Rip City Project gives you the rundown on who to buy for your daily fantasy lineup in today’s contest between the Trail Blazers and Clippers.

The NBA has returned in full force and daily fantasy sports has returned along with it. Finding the right stars to place in your lineup is a good way to build a consistent winner, but identifying players who are underpriced is the key to separating your team from the pack. Today we will be looking for a couple of those players who are playing in the Trail Blazers’ matchup with the Clippers.

We will be using FanDuel‘s pricing guide to judge players for today’s post. Check out their website to see if you are eligible to play in your area.

Trail Blazers Worth Buying

Al-Farouq Aminu (PF) – $4,600

More from Rip City Project

Aminu will have a considerable amount of work to do on the defensive end against the Clippers, but he should find himself open on the offensive end. Doc Rivers has shown that he has no problem committing his entire scheme to stopping Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, which should leave Portland’s other shooters wide open. Aminu has punished LA before, as he had a thirty point outing for the Trail Blazers against the Clippers in last year’s postseason.

Aminu’s modest price makes him an attractive addition for tonight’s slate of games. Adding him to a roster of high-priced players should bring some solid results your way.

    Ed Davis (PF) – $3,900

Mason Plumlee has struggled to stay on the court due to foul trouble, which has opened up a ton of minutes for Davis. Anytime the reserve big man is on the court for longer than twenty minutes he is a threat to bring down a double double. Look for Terry Stotts to turn to Davis throughout the night, which makes his bargain price an interesting option to consider.

    Trail Blazers to Avoid

    Damian Lillard (PG) – $9,100

It pains us to say this, but Lillard’s price-tag is a little steep for the matchup he faces tonight. He is currently the fourth highest priced player for FanDuel today, which means that he would have to produce at the same level he did the other night against the Jazz for you to get adequate value. Lillard should still have a good game, but it will be hard for him to live up to his price.

    Mason Plumlee (C) – $5,100

Tonight doesn’t get any easier for Portland’s starting center. DeAndre Jordan is an absolute force, and Plumlee has struggled to slow him down in the past. He racked up six fouls against the Clippers in just eleven minutes earlier this month, so investing in him tonight should be done cautiously.
