Reports: Kings pull Iguodala offer

Published Jul. 3, 2013 1:00 a.m. ET

The Sacramento Kings have withdrawn their four-year, $56 million offer to free-agent guard/forward Andre Iguodala, according to Yahoo! Sports and USA Today.

The Kings reportedly wanted an answer by Tuesday night from Iguodala, who wasn't ready to give one, Yahoo! Sports reports.

As a result, Iguodala could re-sign with the Denver Nuggets, who offered him a five-year extension Monday, according to Yahoo! Sports. The Detroit Pistons also have expressed interest in Iguodala.

As for the Kings, USA Today notes they could turn their attention to re-signing guard Tyreke Evans, who is mulling a four-year, $44 million offer from the New Orleans Pelicans.

Iguodala, 29, averaged 13.0 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game and 5.4 assists per game in 80 games this past season.

It was his first season with the Nuggets after being traded from the Philadelphia 76ers in the four-team swap that sent Dwight Howard from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers. Philadelphia took Iguodala with the ninth overall pick in the 2004 draft.
