Reports: Blatt dismisses trade speculation, says Wiggins 'not going anywhere'

Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt has confirmed recent reports that Andrew Wiggins is not in play for a trade to land Kevin Love.

After the story of a potential trade surfaced on Friday, a series of reports disputed whether Wiggins, who was the top draft pick in June, could be traded from the team that just signed forward LeBron James.

According to multiple reports, Blatt said Saturday that he had no knowledge of a potential trade involving Wiggins.

"There's no reason or cause for worry on his part because Andrew's not going anywhere, as far as I know and as far as the club has expressed," Blatt told reporters Saturday following the Cavaliers' Summer League practice in Las Vegas, according to ESPN.com.

According to the ESPN report, the Timberwolves want Wiggins if a trade for Love is to be made.

"I would think for a guy like Andrew, to have the opportunity to play with arguably one of the best players of all time, and to learn from him and to be tutored by him and to play alongside him -- which he will -- I gotta think that's a tremendous boost to his confidence and his comfort level and probably his motivation," Blatt told reporters, according to the report.
