Report: Warriors growing less confident of hiring Kerr as head coach

The Warriors feel their chances of landing Steve Kerr are dwindling, ESPN reports.
Golden State fired head coach Mark Jackson despite the team winning 51 games this past season and making back-to-back playoff appearances.
The Warriors might shift their focus to former Heat and Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy, who is reportedly one of their top coaching candidates.
Kerr, who has no coaching experience, has been linked to the Knicks job since the team named Phil Jackson as president. Kerr also has a close relationship with Warriors brass and owns an offseason home in San Diego, but the Warriors fear Kerr is "ĀĀtoo deep"ĀĀ in talks with New York, according to the report.
Kerr, who was the Suns general manager from 2007 to 2010, is currently working as an analyst for TNT.
