Report: Wade seeks psych exam of ex

Thought the ugliness was over in Dwyane Wade’s divorce/custody saga with his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches? Well, it appears the Miami Heat star is headed back to court.

While reaching a settlement with Funches on their divorce in Chicago last Monday, Wade had attorneys back in Miami filing an emergency motion demanding Funches get a psychological evaluation before being allowed to see their two sons again, according to reports.

The motion is said to cite from Funches’ strange and often angry behavior during their divorce settlement proceedings, especially near the end when she sat outside the courthouse with a sign that alleged she was homeless, telling her side of the story to reporters and the general public.

“S.L.’s [Funches-Wade’s] statements, behavior, and her demeanor in court reflect that she is presently lost, angry and desperate. Her behavior is not in the children’s best interests...D.T. [Wade] requests that this Court immediately suspend S.L.’s timesharing...pending the results of a psychological evaluation of S.L.,” Wade’s filing by his attorneys reads, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

Funches was supposed to have begun her two weeks visitation with Zion, 9, and Zaire, 4, last week, but her attorney claims Wade’s kept them away, according to a South Florida gossip columnist.

“The entire way Mr. Wade and his team are handling the issues with the children is disturbing to me,” Brian Hurst said, according to the report.

And it goes on to say that the reported $5 million settlement the pair reached last week hasn’t been signed yet.

In other words, stay tuned.
