Report: The Knicks are fans of Justise Winslow after his workout

Everyone seems to like Justise Winslow.

He plays defense. He makes threes. He puts the ball on the ground. He rebounds. He appears complete, even though he's just a freshman coming out of Duke after a sole season of college basketball. Now, according to a report from ESPN's Ian Begley, we know the Knicks, who worked out Winslow on Monday afternoon, are no exception to the Winslow love.

From Begley:

Winslow averaged 12.6 points and 6.5 rebounds during his only season at Duke, during which he led the Blue Devils to a national championship.

The draft is scheduled for June 25 at Barclays Center.

Justise Winslow received strong feedback from the New York Knicks following his workout Monday at the team's training facility, according to sources familiar with the proceedings.

League sources familiar with the team's thinking said after the workout that Winslow is "definitely in play" for the Knicks, who will select fourth in the NBA draft on June 25. The sources said the Knicks provided "positive feedback" to Winslow after he put forth a strong performance in the workout.

Winslow isn't the only potential lottery pick working out for New York this week.

The Knicks are scheduled to work out top point guard prospect Emmanuel Mudiay on Tuesday at the team facility.

Also, D'Angelo Russell told reporters Monday in Los Angeles that he has a workout scheduled with the Knicks. The date for that workout is not yet known.

New York is scheduled to work out Kentucky big man Willie Cauley-Stein and Murray State guard Cameron Payne later this month.
