Report: Joakim Noah says fan in Cleveland spit on him after Game 2

Published May. 7, 2015 1:10 a.m. ET

In addition to his back-and-forth with Ohio State QB Cardale Jones, all of Joakim Noah’s hatred for the city of Cleveland may have finally come back to bite him in the behind . . . or face, in this case.

According to CSN Chicago reporter Chuck Garfien, Noah told a security guard after Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals in Cleveland Wednesday that a fan spit on him.

Noah’s Bulls were torched by the Cavs 106-91 in Game 2 after pulling out a win in Game 1, so the Cavs fans must have been feeling pretty good after the game. Not only that, but Noah has talked so much about Cleveland over the years that fans there probably hate him. Then again, as this remarkable photo showed us, pretty much all fanbases dislike Noah; it’s not just a Cleveland thing.

Regardless, we don’t ever condone fans spitting on opposing players. Nobody deserves that sort of treatment.
