Report: Hornets, Raptors pull off trade

The New Orleans Hornets have dealt Peja Stojakovic and Jerryd Bayless to the Toronto Raptors as part of a five-player deal, according to multiple reports.

The Raptors will send Jarrett Jack, David Andersen and Marcus Banks to complete the trade.

Bayless came to the Hornets five days before the regular season from the Portland Trail Blazers in a trade for a future first-round draft choice. He is averaging 4.5 points and 2.5 assists as the backup point guard to Chris Paul.

Stojakovic is in the last year of his contract in New Orleans, earning $15.3 million and has played sparingly at times this season. behind Marco Belinelli.

Jack has started every game this season while essentially sharing time with Jose Calderon at point guard. Andersen is averaging 5.1 points and 3.1 rebounds as the backup center. Banks has appeared in just three games.
