Report: Goran Dragic 'basically a lock' to re-sign with Heat

As the Dwyane Wade situation slowly unfolds in Miami, the Heat are taking care of business on the rest of the team's free agency fronts.

Luol Deng has already decided to be back in the fold next season, and free agent point guard Goran Dragic could be right behind him. ESPN's Marc Stein reports that while Wade's return is "not as lock-y as we thought," "the expectation leaguewide is that Goran Dragic is basically a lock to stay with the Heat."

Dragic should be a big part of the next era in Miami's ongoing quest for championships. He's expressed a desire for the team to play faster next season, and coach Erik Spoelstra seems open to the idea. Adding Justise Winslow will help in that regard, as he's a tremendous finisher in the open court. And increasing the pace could help make the most of Hassan Whiteside's abilities as well.
