QUICK HITS: Memphis Grizzlies 105, Toronto Raptors 120
The Memphis Grizzlies (11-8) fell short to the Toronto Raptors (12-6) tonight, ending their six game road winning streak.
For a team who only had nine players to begin with – most of which, inexperienced – the Memphis Grizzlies held their own tonight in Toronto. Though the scoreboard showed 120-105, the Raptors held very few leads until minutes into the third quarter.
As if the Grizzlies weren’t injury-ridden already, floor general Mike Conley’s absence tonight definitely made an impact. The Memphis back-court was instead led by Andrew Harrison and Troy Daniels, who may have just had his breakout game.
Kyle Lowry led both teams in scoring tonight, adding 29 points and 8 assists.
