Pistons' Hamilton out 2 games with sprained ankle

Ben Gordon started in Hamilton's spot Friday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder and Chucky Atkins was activated to add depth.

Gordon scored 25 points but the Pistons lost to the Thunder, 91-83.

Hamilton also will not play Saturday night at Milwaukee. He was injured late in Wednesday night's season-opening win at Memphis. Postgame X-rays on the ankle were negative.

Hamilton scored a team-high 25 points in Detroit's opening victory and the Coatesville, Pa., native has led team in scoring for seven straight seasons.
