Paul Pierce's gigantic glasses create quite a spectacle on Twitter

The Washington Wizards gave Paul Pierce the night off Wednesday against the New York Knicks, so he sat on the sideline in street clothes.

Instead of just throwing on a suit and calling it a night, though, the former Boston Celtic rocked some hilariously large specs.

Naturally, Twitter couldn't help but notice that Pierce wasn't the first guy to wear similar frames.

After being ridiculed on social media all night, Pierce watched his Wizards walk away with a 101-91 win.
