Paul Pierce and Al Pacino together on a private jet because ... why not?

Here's what we know: Paul Pierce has put out a photo on Instagram showing the veteran NBA star on a private jet, seated next to Al Pacino. The Oscar-winning actor recently performed a one-man show in Las Vegas. The caption says only, "Bosses chillin."

So we don't know how the two ended up on the plane together or where it was headed or whether they were just about to dig into the fruit plate sitting in front of them.

But we don't really need any more information, do we? We can just enjoy the scene, whether it makes any sense or not. Sort of like Pierce now being a member of the Washington Wizards.
