Pacers' 7-foot rookie is already in the gym -- behind the 3-point line

To the rest of the NBA outside the great state of Indiana, this is your warning: Myles Turner is going to unleash a new skill set that you haven't seen in a long time, if ever.

The Indiana Pacers rookie, who's listed at either 6'11" or 7'0", depending on how much he stretched that day, was billed as something of a project in the days and weeks leading up to the draft. He was a solid rim protector in college, and that looks to be the key strength on which he'll build the rest of his game in the NBA.

But there's also the outside chance he could develop a truly accurate 3-pointer, even from the longer NBA range. Turner flashed a nice jumper at Texas, and the Pacers will likely work with him to stretch that range as far out as possible.
