Nuggets general manager says the team won't trade Ty Lawson

Ty lawson caused quite a stir last night when a video emerged of him saying he's going to Sacramento after the Denver Nuggets picked Emmanuel Mudiay with the 7th pick in the NBA draft. Lawson's name has been in trade rumors for a few months now, so it's not at all surprising to hear the point guard think he's going to be traded.

Yet, in his press conference yesterday, general manager Tim Connelly said that the selection of Mudiay doesn't mean the team is trading Lawson. Then again, that's exactly what Connelly should say, because to say anything else would ruin his leverage.
