Nets' Johnson out with right knee tendinitis

NEW YORK (AP) Joe Johnson missed Brooklyn's game against Philadelphia on Monday due to tendinitis in his right knee.

It was the second game that Johnson missed for the Nets, who've dealt with injuries all season long and rolled out their 18th different starting lineup this season.

Johnson, who was selected as an Eastern Conference reserve for the All-Star game, is averaging 15.6 points. He said the injury had been bothering him during the last few weeks, and that it had been ''like I've been on one leg.''

Johnson adds: ''Now my foot was kind of starting to hurt on my left leg. So I don't want to get it to a point where I'm compensating and hurting something on my other leg, and then it lingers over throughout the playoffs or the next few weeks.''

Backup forward Andray Blatche missed his second straight game due to a bruised left hip, an injury that occurred last Friday night against Oklahoma City. Brooklyn was also without backup forward Andrei Kirilenko, who missed his third straight game due to a sore right calf.
