Nets' Jack out for the season with torn ACL

Published Jan. 3, 2016 6:32 p.m. ET

NEW YORK (AP) Brooklyn Nets point guard Jarrett Jack has a torn ACL in his right knee and will miss the remainder of the season.

Jack was hurt Saturday in a victory at Boston and the Nets say Sunday he also has a small medial meniscus tear. Jack will have surgery on a date that has not been determined.

Jack has started all 32 games this season after the Nets bought out Deron Williams over the summer and has averaged 12.8 points and a team-best 7.4 assists.
