NBA releases 2015-16 Knicks regular-season schedule

Published Aug. 13, 2015 1:08 p.m. ET

The schedule for the upcoming season is out. Time to get your ticket-buying game on. If you're a Knicks fan living outside of New York, you might have to get to NBA League Pass more often than in past seasons.

You can read the full schedule here. Until there, here are some observations:

• The Knicks only have seven nationally televised games. They had 16 last year. I guess that's what a 17-win season will do to you.

• The Knicks have 17 back-to-backs on the schedule, but as promised by commissioner Adam Silver, four-games-in-five-nights were severely decreased. Turns out the Knicks have exactly zero of them this season.

• As Posting & Toasting points out, "Jahlil Okafor vs. Kristaps Porzingis, round 1: Wednesday, December 2."

• The Knicks play the Cavaliers twice right away: on Nov. 4 and Nov. 13.
