NBA champion J.R. Smith was still shirtless when he got off the plane in Cleveland

The Cleveland Cavaliers returned home Monday afternoon, and LeBron James carried the trophy off the team plane while wearing an "Ultimate Warrior" shirt.

Meanwhile, here's how J.R. Smith got off the plane.

No, excuse me. That's NBA CHAMPION J.R. Smith.

At some point during the Cavs' championship party in Vegas, Smith took his shirt off to get wild and it appears he just never bothered to put it back on.

What an incredible 24 hours for him. 

He was so overcome with emotion Sunday evening after winning the title that he could barely answer questions at the podium, just openly sobbing when explaining how much his family and his dad -- who was in the interview room on Father's Day -- mean to him.

What a time to be a Cav.
