Michael Sam and others weigh in on Jason Collins' signing with Nets
The 7-foot-tall center signed a 10-day contract with the Nets earlier in the day, and several high-profile athletes took to Twitter to celebrate the move.
Former Missouri Tigers football player Michael Sam -- who came out earlier this month and could himself become the first openly gay player in the NFL -- also was one of the first to weigh in on the signing of Collins:
