Manu Ginobili took to Twitter Monday afternoon to announce that he will return to the team for the 2015-16 season. The 37-year-old Argentine guard played in 70 contests last season, coming off the bench in all of them. He averaged 22.7 minutes, 10.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.

Ginobili’s return comes after the Spurs landed free agent power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, and convinced Tim Duncan to return for another season. The team also re-signed Danny Green to a four-year, $45 million deal and agreed to a five-year, $90 million extension with Kawhi Leonard.

As of now, the Spurs have to be considered the early favorite for the 2016 NBA title.
