LeBron's mom parties with Heat
LeBron James and his Miami Heat teammates kept up the heat after their NBA championship win, partying until 6 a.m. local time Friday.
After their victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, King James and his court headed to LIV nightclub inside the Fontainebleau in Miami.
James -- wearing a T-shirt bearing his own face -- and his teammates celebrated in extravagant style with "countless bottles of Champagne" including a 15-liter, $75,000 jug of Ace of Spades, swanky cigars and 10 bottles of Enrique Iglesias' Atlantico Rum.
Witnesses said that Dwyane Wade and girlfriend Gabrielle Union kissed throughout the night, while Chris Bosh was joined by his wife, Adrienne. And even LeBron's overjoyed mom, Gloria, partied with the team until 4 a.m.
"Dwyane and LeBron got on the microphone and thanked the Miami fans for all the support," an onlooker said.
Team owner Mickey Arison and his wife sat alongside LIV owner David Grutman and the players, who wore their championship caps.
"Everyone was celebrating and congratulating each other well into the morning," an attendee said. "The team requested 'Gotta Have It' by Jay-Z and Kanye West. They all went wild when it came on, rapping to the lyrics."
Heat president Pat Riley -- who started the celebrations with a postgame party on the Heat's practice court -- opted for a lower-key but just as jubilant bash at Myles Chefetz's Prime 112 Steakhouse.
Arriving at the restaurant at almost 3 a.m. local time, Riley was greeted by fellow diners with cheers and applause. He dined in the private wine room with his wife, two other couples and Blaine Trump and her husband.
Apparently, superstitious Riley turned down Champagne from well-wishers after playoff wins, explaining that he would "only drink Champagne after winning the championship." He finally got to enjoy a celebratory bottle of Cristal with his dinner.
