LeBron James on Tom Brady in Super Bowl LI: 'I never counted him out'

LeBron James knows a little something about historic comebacks. His Cavaliers became the first team in history to overcome a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals to win a title in 2016, so a day after Tom Brady fought back from a 28-3 hole to lead the Patriots to a win over the Falcons in Super Bowl LI, James offered his thoughts.

"The game ain't over 'til it's over," James said when asked about New England's win, via ESPN. "You got to play the game out, and as a fan watching the game you see the ups and downs. But, you seen the momentum start to change a little bit when they was able to get that first score, so I never counted him out.

"It's just perseverance. That's it. Like I said, you play the game to the end, stick with the game plan and see how it ends."
