LeBron James' foundation donates high school football uniforms via helicopter
LeBron James has consistently done charitable work through his foundation over the years, but the recent partnership with the University of Akron to give scholarships to potentially more than a thousand kids was groundbreaking in terms of how it could bring true change to his community.
But even after making that announcement, James continues to be involved in making smaller contributions that can have a huge impact to those on the receiving end of his kindness.
"This is amazing," Kenmore senior Dorell Daniels-Vaught told the Akron Beacon Journal. "It is a blessing to get something, especially with where we go to school. We really don't have too many opportunities for a lot of things to happen to us. A lot of bad publicity usually happens, so it is nice to have these changes and good publicity."
