LeBron gets lighter Nike sneakers for playoffs

LeBron James is getting new shoes for the NBA playoffs.

The Miami Heat forward's eighth signature shoe is being launched by Nike on Saturday - not coincidentally, the opening day of the NBA postseason.

Miami hosts Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

The shoe - the LeBron 8 PS - is the third version of sneaker he's donned this season, and Nike has shaved 2.4 ounces from the shoe.

Nike says the new sneaker will have a suggested retail price of $150.
