LeBron downplays Game 5 significance, calls his career 'pretty cool'
LeBron James is having himself a hell of an NBA Finals. But it's nothing new; The King has been dazzling us for more than a decade now, blazing one of the most unique paths in the history of the league. We know by now that his career is an all-timer.
Evidently, he knows it too. After fielding questions from the media following a disappointing blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors at home on Thursday (to knot the series at 2-2), James answered a query about the meaning of Game 5:
We're glad to see some levity after a tough performance. Now let's see if two days of rest can give LeBron and Co. what they need to take things back home with a 3-2 series lead for Game 6.
