The Denver Nuggets have secretly build a legitimate playoff contending team, but Las Vegas still thinks that the Nuggs are hardly better than last season.

The Denver Nuggets, who went 33-49 last season, were projected to win 34.5 in Vegas’ Over/Under.

I’m sure that several other teams are unhappy with their win totals, but the Nuggets have a case to be the most upset. With the returning of key role players Jusuf Nurkic and Nikola Jokic, there will be no reason for the Nuggets to not win over 34.5 games.

With a second unit that can compete with the best in the NBA, the Nuggets will finally be entering Emmanuel Mudiay’s sophomore year and Gary Harris’ junior year. The experienced that these young guards have garnered is priceless.

Along with a healthy Danilo Gallinari and the hopeful rising of rookie Jamal Murray, it should be considered easy money to bet on this elusive team. With that said, all the talents are there for this team not to only win 35 games, but to surprise fans everywhere and nag a playoff spot.

With Coach Malone, who was recently ranked a top 15 coach by Bleacher Report, leading the way, the Denver Nuggets will have the shot to shock the NBA world.

It will be a long that they make the playoffs, but Denver should see a beneficial season in terms of development. Overall, that could be the true goal of this upcoming season.

All the signs will be pointing to Denver easily hitting 35 wins.
