Lakers' Bass to sit out against Warriors with sore right foot

Los Angeles Lakers backup big man Brandon Bass (sore right foot) will sit out Thursday night's game against the Golden State Warriors, according to Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News:

Bass injured his foot in the Lakers' win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday. He practiced on Wednesday, but looked "a little gimpy," according to Byron Scott

Bass had also suffered a corneal abrasion in right eye against the Oklahoma City Thunder last week, but seems to have recovered. He is averaging 6.1 points on a career-high 57.2 percent shooting to go along with 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 17.4 minutes per game.

The shorthanded Lakers could also be without Kobe Bryant, who is a game-time decision with a sore right Achilles. D'Angelo Russell (sprained right ankle) and Julius Randle (bone bruise in right foot) are expected to play.
