Kobe joins Taylor Swift on stage to unveil her very own banner
Two of the world's greatest at their chosen crafts shared a stage on Friday night. And for those brief moments, everything in the universe was in perfect alignment, as pop music superstar Taylor Swift and Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant figuratively blew the roof off of the Staples Center.
Swift was in Los Angeles for yet another sold-out concert, her 16th at Staples Center. It's a meaningful number for the Lakers, who've won 16 NBA titles -- one they know all too well. And to celebrate Swift's accomplishment, Bryant came out on stage and helped her unveil her very own "championship" banner in style:
While everything has changed for the Lakers the past few seasons as Los Angeles has missed the playoffs, by the time the upcoming NBA season is back to December, there's hope that Bryant can help the team get back on track. Until then, today was a fairy tale for Bryant and Swift.
