Kobe Bryant on Utah's Dante Exum: '[He's] a fantastic young player'
Kobe Bryant shares an agent with Utah's young guard Dante Exum, who is currently recovering from a torn ACL.
Bryant and Exum are both represented by Landmark Sports, with agent Rob Pelinka. During a conference call today with international reporters, Bryant was asked about Exum -- who was born in Australia.
"Dante's a fantastic young player," said Bryant, via Aaron Falk. "I think he'll bounce back. I think he'll be just fine."
Before Exum was drafted, one general manager reportedly compared him to Bryant. Exum told CBS Sports one reason he originally chose Pelinka as an agent was because "he has Kobe Bryant."
