Knicks' Smith a game-time decision

Published May. 11, 2013 1:00 a.m. ET

J.R. Smith will be a game-time decision Saturday night at Indiana.

Coach Mike Woodson said during his pregame availability that Smith would warm up before a decision is made on whether he will play. Smith is listed as active after missing the Knicks' morning shootaround because he had a fever of about 102 degrees.

If Smith can't go, it could have a big impact on Game 3 at Indiana. The series is tied 1-1.

Smith averaged 18.1 points and 5.3 rebounds during the regular season and won the NBA's Sixth Man Award. But his playoff numbers are down to 14.4 points and 4.7 rebounds, and he's just 7 of 30 from the field in the first two games against Indiana.
