Knicks at Bulls live stream: How to watch online
A look at how to watch Friday night’s game between the Knicks and Bulls.
Friday night’s game between the New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls has plenty of storylines surrounding with all that happened this past offseason. It will see two players return to Chicago for the first time since going to the Knicks, which should make for an interesting scene.
In 2008, the Bulls selected Derrick Rose with the No. 1 overall pick. He initially lived up to lofty expectations with the 2011 MVP award, but then suffered a knee injury that sidelined him for one year. This ended up affecting his play for several seasons to the point where he wasn’t close to an elite status anymore. He seemed like a league-average point guard, so with one year left on a large contract, the Bulls decided to trade Rose to the Knicks. They received a package headlined by center Robin Lopez.
Joakim Noah had once been the heart and soul of the Bulls. He had been with them since being selected in the 2007 NBA Draft, and was a mainstay of teams that went to the Eastern Conference Finals. However, after an injury-riddled 2015-16 season, the Bulls decided to let him go. The Knicks would then sign him for four years, $72 million shortly after free agency began.
Noah and Rose returning to the United Center could warrant cheers. They were important pieces to the Chicago organization for years, so we’ll see if the fans applaud them.
