Kevin Love tells us who has the game's best crossover
Any NBA fan will tell you that Kyrie Irving has some of the best handles in the game. The way he can stop on a dime, change direction and crossover seemingly any opponent has always been extremely impressive.
Not surprisingly, Kevin Love, who played with Irving for the first time as a member of the Cavaliers last season, named him as one of the best when he was asked to do so.
"Best crossover in the game, I would say, well there's a few," Love said in an American Express Home Court Advantage video on the NBA's YouTube channel. "Kyrie is right there. So shifty and can do so many things with the ball."
"Derrick Rose, his change of speed and change of direction is unlike any other," Love continued. "Russell Westbrook is right up there because he's so powerful. You know, those guys are amongst the elite when it comes to handling the ball."
Irving is Love's teammate, but his place on the list is justified. Westbrook's is too, even though he has ties to Love from their college days at UCLA. Rose is as explosive as they come when healthy, so it's hard to argue with that choice.
But it seems criminal to have left Stephen Curry out of the discussion.
