Kevin Durant targets August for full clearance

No one is more anxious for Kevin Durant to return to the court than Durant himself, and if everything goes to plan, he won't have to wait much longer. Here's Royce Young of ESPN/ABC News with more:Ā

"Durant said his rehab is entering 'Phase 3,' with him on the floor taking jump shots but not running and cutting yet. He said everything is on track and that he expects to be fully cleared sometime in August."

Durant played in only 27 games last season and underwent two surgeries to repair a Jones Fracture in his foot. Though he experienced a setback during the season, Durant said he hasn't had one since his second surgery. Hopefully this means the dominating Durant of two years ago will return next season.Ā
