Kevin Durant caps off big night with thunderous slam (Video)
Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant put the finishing touches on a big night with a huge slam to end the third quarter.
Kevin Durant clearly took the first battle against Russell Westbrook on Thursday night. The Golden State Warriors were rolling the Oklahoma City Thunder and by the end of the third quarter, garbage time was ready to begin in the bay area.
Despite the fact that the Warriors were putting a hurting on the Thunder, Kevin Durant wasn’t done playing just yet. The superstar forward came into the game to finish out the third quarter and to hopefully get the team some more points on the board before the end of the quarter. He did just that too.

As time was winding down in the quarter, Durant decided that he was going to take the shot and allowed Oklahoma City to do their best to try and stop him. Just like he had done all night, Durant got to the basket with ease and threw down the thunderous slam to really cap off the huge night that he was having on the floor.
Durant was making shots from all over the floor on Thursday night, and his dunk at the end of third really summed up how this game went. He got the better of his counterpart in their first meeting and Golden State was feeling it.
