Jay Z thinks he got the real game ball from Kobe Bryant's final game

Stars came out in droves on Wednesday night to bid farewell to Kobe Bryant in his final NBA game. Jack Nicholson was in his usual courtside seat, while hip hop stars such as Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and Jay Z were also at Staples Center for Bryant's sendoff.

Jay Z, however, left the arena with a souvenir. According to music mogul Steve Stoute's Instagram, it was the game ball.

Only, it wasn't. A Lakers official told FOX Sports that Bryant took the game ball home with him, barring the very slim chance that Kobe personally gave Jay Z the ball in the locker room before leaving the arena

Furthermore, it's not likely Jay Z would be dribbling a historic ball like that one. It belongs in a case at the Hall of Fame, if anything.
