Iguodala, 2 others sit out for 76ers at Warriors

Philadelphia forward Andre Iguodala was a late scratch from the 76ers' game against Golden State on Monday because of recurring tendinitis in his right Achilles'.

Iguodala, the 76ers' second-leading scorer and rebounder, missed five games in November with the same injury, ending his streak of 252 consecutive games played.

The 76ers were also without reserve forward Jason Kapono, who injured a calf muscle in practice.

The Sixers were already short-handed. Guard Lou Williams remained in Philadelphia for the birth of his daughter, while assistant coach Brian James also missed the game after the death of his father.

Both Williams and James are expected to rejoin the team Friday in Los Angeles when the 76ers play the Lakers.
