Ice Cube's son upset about Kobe Bryant's NBA 2K16 rating, disses Clippers

Ice Cube's son, O'Shea Jackson Jr., has had himself a heck of a few weeks.

Thanks to his breakout turn playing his father in the box office hit "Straight Outta Compton," Jackson's star is ascending quickly. You'd think he'd be in a pretty good mood. But he's not — and it's all thanks to Kobe Bryant's NBA 2K16 rating.

TMZ caught up with Jackson recently and asked him about his Lakers loyalties.

"Lakers fan 'til I die, man! What are you talking about?" Jackson said.

When asked about Bryant's rating, reported to be the lowest of his career, Jackson cut off the TMZ reporter with an incredulous tone.

"85, I know," he said about Kobe's rating. "Yeah, man. You know, how quickly they forget. Somebody can hurt their Achilles for so long, whatever, but as long as Kobe Bryant is wearing the golden jersey, I feel like I can win the championship."

Even with the low rating, mini Ice Cube is sticking with Kobe in 2K.

"C'mon, man. Where am I from? Am I gonna play with the Blakers? With the Clippers?"

For those who disagree, Ice Cube's son will apparently be happy to meet you in Temecula.
