Hawks' Jeff Teague gets angry, 'hated' performance against Nets

The Hawks know that they let an opportunity slip away when they came out flat Saturday and lost to the Nets, who now trail just 2-1 in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. And like some kind of Sith point guard, Jeff Teague is ready to let the hate flow through him if it'll help the Hawks beat the Nets in Game 4.

“I hated our game [Saturday], I hated the way I played,’’ Teague said after Hawks practice Sunday. “I think the whole team hated the way we played. To get back on the floor and be able to touch the ball today and get back on the floor [Monday] was good. I hate days off. I hate sitting around.

“We are still confident. We still think we can go into Game 4 and get a win.”
