Hawks' Horford on trade rumors: 'My priority is to focus on the team'

Atlanta's Al Horford is at the center of recent trade rumors, but he says he's not letting that distract his focus.

Horford, currently playing for the final year of his contract with the Hawks, has played for Atlanta for nine seasons. Horford, who was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, says he hasn't read many of the trade rumors. In a recent report via MyAJC.com, Horford explained that he tends "not to look" when people speculate about trades involving him -- including recent rumors about a swap that would send him to the Celtics.

“I haven’t heard anything from the organization,” said said, in the report. “For me, my priority is to focus on the team. My task is in front of me.”

Horford added that he feels like Atlanta is his home and he's just going to pay attention to the team. Horford averages 15.0 points per game with 6.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 blocks per game.
