Grizzlies' Parsons has bone bruise in his left knee
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) Memphis Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons has a bone bruise to his left knee and is expected to miss at least two weeks.
The Grizzlies announced the severity of Parsons' injury Sunday and said he was diagnosed with the injury after Friday's game with the Dallas Mavericks. Team officials said Parsons will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
The Grizzlies noted this isn't the same knee that Parsons previously had surgically repaired.
Grizzlies officials also said that guard Tony Allen is questionable Monday night against Charlotte. Allen had a mild aggravation of his right groin Saturday night against Minnesota.
Forward Brandan Wright has begun rehabilitation after undergoing arthroscopic ankle surgery Monday. There is no timetable for his return.
