George scores 25 of his 27 in 2nd half, Pacers edge Knicks

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Paul George scored 25 of his 27 points in the second half Wednesday night to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 108-105 victory over the New York Knicks.

Kristaps Porzingis missed a 3-point shot that would've given the Knicks the lead with 1.9 seconds remaining. Myles Turner then made one free throw at the other end.

Carmelo Anthony missed a 3-point attempt for the tie at the buzzer from the right wing.

George, who shot 1 of 9 in the first half, had 10 points in the third quarter and 15 in the fourth. He finished hitting 10-of-23 shots.

Turner had 24 points and George Hill added 10.

Porzingis led New York with 22 points and Jose Calderon had 20. Calderon made all four of his 3-point attempts.
