Former No. 1 pick Anthony Bennett reportedly agrees to deal with Nets

Anthony Bennett was selected with the No. 1 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers, but has yet to come close to living up to the lofty expectations that come along with being taken first overall.

He's played sparingly for three teams in three seasons, and will now get a shot with a fourth after reportedly agreeing to a two-year deal to join the Brooklyn Nets.

Bennett, 23, was sent to Minnesota as part of the three-team trade that brought Kevin Love to the Cavaliers in the summer of 2014. He was waived by the Timberwolves in September of 2015 after averaging 5.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game over 57 appearances.

The Canadian-born prospect was then picked up by the Toronto Raptors, but couldn't crack the rotation, and finished with an average of just 4.4 minutes in 19 total appearances last season.
