Fellow NBA rookies deem Suns' Devin Booker the best rookie shooter

The Phoenix Suns got a 3-point specialist who can do a little bit of everything else, too, when they selected Devin Booker in this year's draft. It was an inspired pick, one that should end up working out well for the Suns as teams emphasize the 3-pointer more and more.

And if Booker's fellow rookies are to be believed, no one in this year's class can come close to touching Booker's shooting finesse. The rookies participated in an annual survey earlier this month at their first official photo shoot. And on the question of which rookie is the best shooter, Booker received an astounding 58.8 percent of the vote.

Booker shot over 40 percent on 3-pointers at the Las Vegas Summer League, his first official game time with the NBA's longer 3-point line. Also of note, as pointed out by NBA.com's John Schuhmann, Booker was the only rookie to receive greater than 50 percent of the vote in any of the questions on the survey.

The incoming NBA players know how deadly accurate Booker can be from deep. Now, it's time for the rest of the league to find out the hard way.
