Ex-Hawk Watch: December 4th, 2016
What did your favorite former Hawk do last night? Look no further than Ex-Hawk Watch, where all your stat-watching needs are fulfilled.
On any given night, there will be a number of players, formerly of the Atlanta Hawks, that now play for other teams. Keeping up with all of the familiar faces can be a hassle; until now. On December 4th, 2016, three of the fourteen active former Hawks played. Better yet, two of the three matched up against each other. Let’s jump right into the Ex-Hawk Watch:

Ex-Hawk Watch: December 4th, 2016
Jamal Crawford
14 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 0 blocks in 27 minutes in a 111-102 loss vs Pacers
Crawford’s 0-3 performance from behind the arc was subpar, but his game other than that was solid.
Justin Holiday

5 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, 0 blocks in 23 minutes in a 106-98 win vs Kings
In his debut game on the Ex-Hawk Watch, Holiday matched Al Horford’s career high in rebounding. This is highly impressive from the 26-game Hawk.
Jeff Teague

15 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, 3 steals, 0 blocks in 35 minutes in a 111-102 win @ Clippers
Teague went head-to-head with his Wake Forest classmate Chris Paul, and defeated him.
Best Performance of the Night by a former Hawk
Jeff Teague
As much as I wanted to make this about Justin Holiday, Jeff Teague did something far more important In their head-to-head matchups, Teague is now 8-5 against Chris Paul. Teague has scored 22,21. and 20 points on Paul’s head. This proves that Teague is quite easily the best Wake Forest point guard ever. In fact, Teague can likely only be found behind Tim Duncan on the road to Wake Forest’s greatest NBA products.
