Erik Spoelstra 'fully expects' Chris Bosh to be ready for training camp
Chris Bosh went through a situation that was a lot scarier than your usual basketball injury last February. Now, he's getting good news about his ability to stay on the court for the first time in a while.
From Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel:
Bosh was ruled out for the season in February because of a blood clot found in his lungs. After seven months off the court, he must be itching to make his way back onto it.
The Heat brought in a bunch of talent starting at last year's trade deadline when they traded for Goran Dragic. They also drafted Justise Winslow and signed Amar'e Stoudemire and Gerald Green over the offseason. That, plus a full year of Hassan Whiteside and a healthy Bosh could make up one of the best squads in the Eastern Conference.
Bosh was having a typical Chris Bosh season before going down for the year. He averaged 21.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in 44 contests last season.
