Dwight Howard's been particularly efficient in these playoffs
Nobody knew how Dwight Howard would play in this postseason, whether he'd be his former All-Star-caliber self or a post-up swallowing black hole who couldn't log more than 25 minutes a night.
With one series in the books, it's clear the answer is the former. Howard's been dominant on both ends of the floor, blocking shots, flying above the rim for lobs and generally looking like one of the best players in the world.
According to ESPN's Bradford Doolittle, he's been extra efficient, too:
"While Harden understandably handles the ball more than anyone else on the Rockets, Howard stays involved. Per tracking data from NBA.com/stats, Howard's frontcourt touches per game (28.2) rank just sixth on the team, though his overall touches (58.6) rank second because of his work off the defensive glass."
Howard's not only been a monster, he's seamlessly fit his game into Houston's system. Whoever wins the Spurs-Clippers series isn't looking forward to playing him. At all.
