Draymond Green is truly one of a kind, and this stat proves it

The Golden State Warriors are 68-7, and there's a very good chance they go down as one of the best teams in NBA history. Steph Curry and Draymond Green are the two biggest reasons why.

Curry is the best shooter who ever lived, and whether he has the ball in his hands or not, defenses eventually disintegrate whenever he's on the floor. There's never been an offensive weapon like him before, and there may never be one again.

And then there's Green, who's equally unique in his own special way:

Sometimes it feels like Draymond is still underrated. So long as he's Curry's teammate, people will always suggest Green couldn't thrive on his own, in a different system that doesn't include two historically accurate three-point threats.

This is like saying Scottie Pippen would've been nothing without Michael Jordan; Green is a monster. He crashes the glass, guards all five positions (really well!), shoots threes and can run both a fastbreak and a pick-and-roll. He ups his team's confidence with unquantifiable energy and doesn't take plays off.

There's nobody like him. Green impacts virtually every area of the game; the Warriors are never better than when he's on the floor and never worse than when he's off. He's one of the 15 best players in the world, and all the unusual stats he posts on a nightly basis don't even tell half the story.
