Did Dwyane Wade hint that he is leaving Miami Heat?
All those reports about Dwyane Wade considering leaving the Miami Heat if they don't match his contract desires might actually have some substance to them.
Wade has been serving as a guest analyst for ABC's coverage of the NBA Finals, and during Tuesday's pregame show prior to Game 6, the former Finals MVP spoke about his time with the Miami Heat in the past tense.
"When I was in Miami we had this saying ..." Wade said on ABC.
Does that signify that Wade has mentally moved on from the Heat? It certainly gives us good reason to believe he might have.
Wade has a $16.1 million option for next season, but he is believed to be seeking a longer-term deal. The latest report said the Heat were offering him three years for $36 million, which might be enough to drive him away to another team.
If I were a Heat fan, I'd be pretty concerned about Wade's future.
